The area from Nanjing Road, the "first commercial street in China", to the bustling and elegant Huaihai Road in Shanghai is well-known as a "shopping paradise".

Old Chenghuang Temple

Old Chenghuang Temple houses an antique market, a restaurant and a teahouse with strong Shanghai cultural characteristics. It offers some of the city's famous snacks, such as nanxiang xiaolong (steam buns) and babaofan (rice with eight delicacies). The temple attracts numerous tourists from home and abroad with its abundant commodities, unique operation and thoughtful services.

Yunnan Road Food Street

Yunnan Road Food Street, located at the junction of Yan'an Road and Xizang Road, gathers restaurants serving Shanghai, Sichuan, Shandong and many other cuisines. The most famous dishes, such as Beijing roast duck, salted duck, boiled chicken and hot pot, attracting numerous diners from home and abroad.

Nanjing Road Commercial Street

Nanjing Road in Shanghai is known as "the first commercial street in China". Since the beginning of the 19th century, it has developed into the most prosperous commercial street in the city.

In recent years, Nanjing East Road has not only opened some new shopping centers, but also attracted many time-honored brands to return. With Shanghai No 1 Department Store, New World Mall, Orient Shopping Center and other large shopping malls, Nanjing Road has become a shopping paradise for Chinese and foreign tourists.

Jing'an Temple business circle

Jing'an Temple business area began to take shape in the 1930s. In recent years, Jing'an Temple area has gradually become the "heavyweight business circle" in downtown Shanghai.

There are more than 30 commercial buildings in the business circle, which are home to many high-end service companies and high-end international brands. Many famous multinational companies and consulates from Canada, the Czech Republic and Luxembourg have settled in the area. There are also hundreds of regional headquarters of multinational companies and world top 500 enterprises there.

Almost all of the world's top brands have opened flagship stores in the Jing'an Temple business circle. The area is also home to 20 high star-rated hotels.

It is a comprehensive business circle with modern resources for commerce, food, entertainment, transport and accommodation.

Huaihai Road Commercial Street

The bustling Huaihai Road Commercial Street in Shanghai reflects the latest standard of urban leisure shopping culture. The street gathers many large commercial buildings such as Shanghai Times Square, Hong Kong Plaza, the Pacific Department Store and Parkson Shopping Center.

Xujiahui

Xujiahui is the most important commercial and public activity center in southwest Shanghai. The central square covers 1.2 square kilometers and integrates shopping and leisure activities. It is home to a number of famous shopping malls such as Grand Gateway 66, Orient Shopping Center, Pacific Department Store, and Huijin Department Store.
