As many logistics companies have resumed work in Qingpu district, Shanghai, the epidemic prevention and control work in the city has entered a new stage.

The Qingpu district commission of commerce issued a resume work operation regulation for industry enterprises on Feb 5, making clear the return-to-work conditions for logistics companies.

Logistics enterprises are required to set up temporary isolation rooms, strengthen vehicle ventilation and disinfection, measure the temperatures of staff members every day and follow other measures to achieve full coverage of epidemic prevention processes.

Due to the epidemic, express logistics enterprises face multiple pressures such as personnel costs, operating costs and service costs. The commission of commerce made the plan in advance and took the initiative to ensure enterprise solved their problems and successfully resumed secure services.

When it was learned that financial institutions would provide preferential interest rate credit support to transport enterprises directly involved in distributing key epidemic prevention medical articles and daily living materials, the service industry development department immediately contacted the municipal department to obtain financial support for delivery logistics enterprises in the district.

Major delivery companies are paying close attention to the progress of epidemic prevention and control and are building a green channel for the industry in Qingpu. To date, four enterprises have carried out more than 400 public trips, having transported more than 1,000 tons of goods and materials through trucks and cargo planes, and donated materials worth more than 10 million yuan ($ 1.4 million).

Over the past few days, the four enterprises have donated 90,000 disposable surgical masks, 40,000 KF94 masks, 5,000 N95 masks, 8,000 protective suits and 30 tons of disinfectant to Qingpu district, demonstrating the great willingness of logistics enterprises to fight the epidemic.
