Liu Min, born in September 1967, with a master's degree in business administration, began working in August 1988. Of Han ethnicity, she hails from Changli county, Qinhuangdao city, Hebei province, and is a member of the CPC. Liu is currently deputy-director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce.
She is mainly responsible for the construction of a modern market system, development of modern logistics, recycling of renewable resources, management of trade and commerce, management of market order, and construction of a commercial integrity system. She is in charge of the Market System Construction Division, the Commerce and Trade Administration Division, and the Market Order Management Division. She is also one of the commission's news spokespersons.
