Shanghai city in East China will host its first coffee culture week on March 29-April 11, according to local media reports.
The city is reportedly experiencing a boom in its coffee industry, with the highest amount of coffee consumption and the greatest number of coffee shops in China.
The coffee culture week aims to explore the culture of coffee, bringing it into every corner of the city, promoting its integration with different business formats and improving people's quality of life.
The event will hold an international coffee industry forum, six international coffee competitions and a series of other activities.
Major brands in the coffee industry chain will also contribute to the event. Starbucks Shanghai will launch a number of limited coffee drinks and products in its reserve stores, as well as a variety of coffee classroom activities in its outlets.
