Fifty-two designer jewelry brands attended the GAC Independent \r\nJewelry Designer Exhibition which kicked off on June 24 at Shanghai \r\nWorld Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.

The exhibition is part of the four-day Jewelry Shanghai 2021 which started on the same day.

Organized by institutions including the Gems and Jewelry Trade \r\nAssociation of China (GAC), the National Gemstone Testing Center and the\r\n Shanghai Diamond Exchange, the exhibition features more than 800 \r\nexhibitors that took up over 1,000 booths.

Apart from the designer brand section, the pearl exhibition zone is \r\nanother highlight of the Jewelry Shanghai event. Here, over 80 jewelry \r\nenterprises have set up 120 booths to showcase items ranging from Tahiti\r\n pearls to golden and white pearls from Southeast Asia to freshwater \r\nkinds.

As customized jewelry has been growing in popularity among consumers,\r\n the event has introduced a section featuring 10 enterprises that \r\nspecialize in making colored gems.
