Twenty investment projects worth 19.5 billion yuan ($2.91 billion) were signed at a business environment optimization event for Jiading Industrial Zone in Jiading district on June 28.

The 20 projects cover key industrial sectors such as electrification, network connectivity, smart technology, and automobile, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent sensors, energy saving and environmental protection, and new materials.

The total output value of the projects is estimated to reach 14.85 billion yuan after reaching production.

The event also honored the 2021 outstanding enterprise representatives from Jiading Industrial Zone, awarded Hesai Technology and Shanghai Sanyou Medical Co as Zhangjiang Stars, and issued certificates to eight investment promotion representatives.
