The city of Shanghai in East China has been constantly promoting the digitization of its industries, in a bid to boost its economic recovery and development.

To this end, the third China (Shanghai) Industrial Products Online Trading Festival opened in the metropolis on July 6 and will to run to Aug 31.

The festival is focusing on all kinds of industrial products, such as production equipment, machinery parts, electronic and electrical products, instruments and apparatus, storage and transport and labor protection products. In addition, the event is paying special attention to masks, disinfectants and other COVID-19 epidemic prevention materials.

At the opening ceremony, a digital supply chain industrial alliance was established. It aims to promote links between industrial platforms and enterprises through services, logistics, finance and employment, among other things.
