The Shanghai International Commercial Airshow 2023 was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in the city in East China on Nov 23-25.

It marked a significant milestone as the country's first expo dedicated to the entire commercial aviation industry supply chain.

The three-day event drew the participation of nearly 20 academicians, over 1,000 industry experts and corporate representatives from at home and abroad to discuss the latest developments in the sector.

Attendees had the opportunity to closely examine top aircraft, including the homegrown Modern Ark multipurpose aircraft family.

They also witnessed cutting-edge LEAP engines currently powering the C919 – the first independently developed jet type trunk liner by China.

A special highlight was a themed photo exhibition, offering visitors a glimpse into the remarkable hundred-year journey of China's commercial aviation industry.
