Second Songjiang Coffee Golden Week set to be held

Final preparations are taking place for the Second Songjiang Coffee Golden Week – to be held at Wulong Lake in Shanghai's Songjiang district on Sept 14-18.

The event will feature seven themed events, four markets and two competitions – reflecting the deep integration of the business, travel, culture, sports and exhibitions in Songjiang district.

With a focus on high-quality coffee experiences and a very special cultural atmosphere, the event is expected to offer a fresh experience for both locals and visitors.

The coffee market attracts over 60 coffee brands, such as Starbucks, Peet's Coffee, Aokka, Hinichijou and Jasblu Coffee.

In addition to enjoying freshly brewed coffee, visitors can indulge in a culinary adventure. There are six gourmet food stalls and seven unique food trucks – offering a variety of treats, such as burgers, fried chicken, takoyaki, tacos, classic Italian tiramisu and refreshing ice cream.

Culture and pet markets

For culture enthusiasts, don't miss out on 32 cultural brands showcasing a diverse array of creative cultural products.

Visitors can also get up close and personal with internet-hit animals such as alpacas, capybaras and adorable little pigs – enjoying their gentle gazes and soft hugs.

The event offers a wide array of pet products and healthy pet snacks. Additionally, there is an innovative pet yoga session where pet owners and their pets can stretch together, deepening their bonds and mutual understanding.

Two professional competitions

Dynamic Waacking and Hip-Hop dancers will light up the stage with an exhilarating dance battle on Sept 15.

On Sept 16-17, Liu Guoqiang, second runner-up of the 2024 World Latte Art Championship and the China regional champion, will attend the TBC Top Barista Camp as a judge. Lu Daoqiang will showcase his latte art skills before the competition, adding to the excitement for coffee enthusiasts.

Special activities

Locals and visitors are also welcome to engage in a variety of interactive activities – from relaxing games to dynamic fat-burning cycling and rhythm-based tap games. The organizers are calling on attendees to join the fun and enjoy a one-stop experience of shopping, entertainment and leisure.

Parking, transportation tips

Parking:

Within 800 meters of the festival venue, visitors can find several commercial parking lots, such as D5park and Wanda Plaza.

Transportation:

Tram: Take Songjiang Tram Line 2 (Outer Loop) and get off at Guangxing Road Station.

Bus: Take Songjiang Bus Routes 7, 21, or 66 (Rongbei) and get off at Rongmei Road Waibang Street Bus Stop.

Train: It's recommended you get off at Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, Shanghai Songjiang Railway Station, or Songjiang North Station.

Airplane: It's advised you fly to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
