Zhang Jie, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, announced plans to enhance the system by integrating blockchain, big data and artificial intelligence technologies. The upgrade aims to introduce advanced digital trade projects and improve productivity in the trade sector.

To prepare for the upcoming 7th China International Import Expo, or CIIE, the platform has launched a special module designed to facilitate smooth, paperless customs processes for exhibition items, ensuring faster clearance times.
