Shanghai launches 365 Trade Fair website
Shanghai has officially launched the 365 Trade Fair website – 365tradefair.com – ahead of the 7th China International Import Expo, which is scheduled in the city from Nov 5 to 10.
Jointly developed by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and the China International Import Expo Bureau, the website aims to enhance the CIIE's roles as an international platform for procurement, investment promotion, cultural exchanges, and open cooperation, while also maximizing its spillover benefits.
With its year-round online exhibition, the website complements the six-day in-person event, providing a continuous, 365-day trading platform for buyers and exhibitors involved in the CIIE.
In addition to CIIE-related releases, it compiles information on economic and trade exhibitions in Shanghai, serving as a high-quality digital tool for global exhibitors, buyers, exhibition organizers, and service providers.
Leveraging international trade and exhibition resources from the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai, the platform offers a comprehensive suite of functions, including exhibition services, trade matchmaking, trade support, industry policy updates, and public services.
The site is organized into four sections: CIIE, Events, Services, and News.
CIIE section
The CIIE section offers a comprehensive set of services to support exhibitors and buyers, including information updates, trade matching, and online negotiations.
It aims to maintain an extension of CIIE, accelerating the entry of presented products, technologies, and services into the Chinese market.
Currently, the CIIE section displays information on 3,802 exhibitors and 6,569 items from the 7th CIIE, synchronized with the official CIIE website, ciie.org. This information remains accessible throughout the year.
To simplify trade matching, this section offers functions called "Request for Quotation", "Selected Exhibits", and "Selected Exhibitors" – assisting buyers and sellers in connecting and conducting transactions.
Events section
The platform also provides a detailed calendar of economic and trade exhibitions held in Shanghai.
This provides global buyers with accurate information on upcoming events, while also helping exhibitors connect with professional buyers and discover business opportunities.
Visitors can browse events by industry or venue, with information such as exhibitor services, visitor amenities, and on-site activities available for each event.
So far, 76 exhibitions have been listed.
Services section
To streamline trade processes, the Services section offers one-stop resources.
These include import and export services, certificates of origin processing, legal consultations, financial services, and general inquiries.
News section
The platform's News section delivers timely updates on exhibition policies and events across Shanghai, keeping users abreast of the latest developments.
