Shanghai Futures Exchange, Baowu sign deal on strategic cooperation
Shanghai Futures Exchange and China Baowu Steel Group signed a strategic collaborative agreement on Oct 8 in Shanghai, in a bid to build a multi-level commodity transaction market.
Xu Kunlin, vice-mayor of Shanghai, Hua Yuan, director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, attended the signing ceremony.
Xu said that the strategic cooperation between the two sides will not only be an important carrier to implement the economic development strategy put forward by the State Council and the Ministry of Commerce, but will also promote the market-oriented Yangtze River Delta development strategy and important measures to promote the development of the Yangtze River economic belt.
