Wanda Hotels and Resorts' midrange brand Wanda Moments launched a new hotel in Shanghai's Qingpu district last week.

With the brand's values - sweet, social, style and smart - Wanda Moments Hotel Qingpu, Shanghai will integrate business trips with leisure and provide high-quality services for business travelers.

The new property is the first directly-operated hotel of Wanda Moments.

Designed by the Wanda Hotel Design Institute, the hotel is decorated with gray and metal tones and filled with sculptures and artworks by up-and-coming contemporary artists, which lends a creative atmosphere.

Guests can check-in and out by themselves using a self-help system on the reception desk. Intelligent robots in public areas can guide guests and deliver items accurately and quickly.

There are 261 guest rooms in the hotel, including marine-themed rooms and parent-child rooms.

Since the Wanda Moments brand was founded in November 2018, it has attracted attention of many real estate owners and hotel investors.

To provide cooperation opportunities and enable more people to learn about the brand, the new hotel in Shanghai held an opening party and an investment salon.

More than 100 representatives of capital companies attended and shared their opinions on brand investment and hotel management of Wanda Moments.

Guests from Meadin, a domestic hotel information provider; Horwath HTL, a global hotel, tourism and leisure consulting firm; social platform Tencent WeChat; and Wanda Kids, an entertainment division for children, discussed hotel investment, crossover and innovation.

To attract guests, the new hotel is offering a 20 percent discount on room rates for reservations made between Oct 18 and the end of this year.

The Wanda Moments brand has expanded its branches to Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu and Shanxi provinces, and Guangxi Zhuang and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regions.

More Wanda Moments hotels near Nanjing South railway station, Nanchang West railway station and Nanjing East railway station are expected to open in the near future, according to the group.
