Since its inception in 2003, the 2019 Fenestration BAU China, an international expo for windows, doors, skylights and curtain wall technology has received great attention and praise from window curtain wall enterprises, engineering units, architectural designers and real estate developers. Currently, more than 600 high-quality exhibitors have participated in the Fenestration expo, which has an exhibition scale of 100,000 square meters.

Messe Munchen GmbH, a German company that specializes in organizing industry exhibitions, expos and fairs, has increased its share of revenue from the China market on the back of strong growth in the high-tech sector.

Messe Munchen's subsidiary, BAU, was established in 1964 in Munich, Germany. BAU is also the German word for "architecture". Held every two years at the Munich exhibition center, BAU is the world's most influential architecture fair, leading trends and standards in architectural design, building materials and building systems. The expo not only provides a trading platform for buyers, but also a place for planners and investors to learn and experience the latest construction technology and innovative products.

To guarantee that construction enterprises benefit from a more international platform, MMU BAU Fenestration, a new joint venture international exhibition company, was co-built by Messe Munchen GmbH and Beijing International UnionExpo Co. It is responsible for the operation of the Fenestration BAU China.
