Shanghai Securities News recently organized a delegation of over 30 presidents of companies listed on the science and technology innovation board (which is known as the STAR Market) to tour Lin-gang Special Area.

Chen Jie, deputy director of Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, received the guests.

The delegation visited Shanghai Electric's Lin-gang Base and Lingang Sci-Tech City's exhibition hall to see the development of the special area's key sections and key industries.

Lingang Sci-Tech City is a key area for the development of Lin-gang Special Area. At Lin-gang Sci-Tech City's exhibition hall, the delegation visited exhibition areas for artificial intelligence (AI), intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, aviation and aerospace. High-tech industries such as AI, intelligent manufacturing, industrial internet, internet of vehicles, chips and integrated circuits, low-altitude digitization, maritime science and technology. The visitors also heard explanations of typical representative enterprises such as Cambricon, iFlytek and SenseTime.

At the meeting, Chen Jie mainly explained Lin-gang Special Area's policy system to the delegation, including the implementation of preferential policies for supporting talents, industrial and land policies. The heads of companies from around the country discussed the construction of Lin-gang Special Area and relevant issues of concern.
