After China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2019 wrapped up in Shanghai in November, a delegation from the CIIE Bureau and the National Exhibition Convention Center visited Spain on December 13 to promote the 2020 expo.

Shi Huangjun, head of the delegation, attended the promotion meeting and delivered a speech. He said that the successful conclusion of the second CIIE in Shanghai one month ago had received high attention and wide praise globally.

"The approaching third CIIE will roll out six exhibition areas including trade in services, automobiles, consumer goods, technical equipment, medical devices and medical care and food and agricultural products. We sincerely welcome Spanish enterprises with advantages, characteristics and competitiveness to participate in the third expo next year, make good use of this rare opportunity to enter China's market with a population of nearly 1.4 billion, seize China's opening up opportunities and experience the charm of China's markets, " said Shi.

Mario Rubert from the Barcelona Economic Promotion Bureau said that the import expo is an important window for doing business and making friends with China.
