Shanghai sees boom in deeper cooperation with HK

On Dec 19, Hua Yuan, director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, met with Jacky Chung, regional director of the Hong Kong (HK) Trade Development Council for Eastern and Central China.

Hua said that Shanghai has strived to optimize the business environment to enhance enterprise satisfaction. The economic, trade and investment cooperation between Shanghai and HK has been developing vigorously. In addition, Shanghai also actively participated in the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held in HK. The exchanges and cooperation between Shanghai and HK have been increasingly deepened.

Chung introduced advances made by HK-invested enterprises participating in the second China International Import Expo. The two sides also exchanged views on further implementing cooperation between Shanghai and HK in 2020.
