Hua Yuan meets Japanese delegation

Hua Yuan, director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, met with Isomata Akio, Japan's consul-general in Shanghai, Michiaki Oguri, president of the Japan External Trade Organization Shanghai, and Yoshinori Ogawa, president of the Shanghai Japanese Commerce and Industry Club, on Dec 19.

Hua said that at the second China International Import Expo held last month, Japanese exhibitors brought the most advanced and impressive products and services.

According to Hua, the municipal commission of commerce attaches great importance to the proposal submitted by the Japanese side, and hopes to optimize future communication and dialogue mode with the Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai, the Japan External Trade Organization Shanghai, the Shanghai Japanese Commerce and Industry Club and Japanese enterprises in Shanghai in a bid to further improve the city's business environment.

The Japanese side expressed their hope of maintaining close exchanges, working together to resolve problems, and promoting economic, trade and investment cooperation between Japan and Shanghai.
