Shanghai boosts public data services
In 2019, following a request from the Shanghai Municipal Government, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce carried out public data related work, and laid a solid foundation for "services to be accessed via one website" through three steps: integrating, sharing and connecting to the cloud.
Integrating
In order to promote intensive sharing and build government websites into comprehensive and authoritative platforms for government affairs and policy releases, the commission of commerce completed the integration of 28 websites in 2019. After the integration, there were two existing websites, both of which have "Shanghai" in their secondary domain names.
Sharing
In 2019, the commission of commerce completed 122 resource catalogs, covering 100 percent of the information system. A total of 35 resource directories mounted data resources, accounting for 32 percent of the total resource directories.
A total of 39 data tables were collected and about 53.42 million data records were included. The average update period of the data table was 5.07 days, and the data resources were invoked 12,066 times.
Connecting to the cloud
To implement the development ideas of innovation, coordination, green, open and sharing, promote e-government development, and improve government management ability and the level of public services, the commission of commerce connected 42 systems to the cloud in 2019, with a connecting rate of 100 percent.
The smooth progress of information integration, data sharing and connecting to the cloud has guaranteed the smooth development of the "services to be accessed via one website" work of the commission and provides support for the city to promote the high-quality development of public data services.
