An advanced conference held on Dec 26 aimed to maximize the follow-up tourism development project of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) after the second China International Import Expo.

The meeting called for further refinement and improvement of the implementation plan, strengthening of the connection and linkage of scenic spots and shopping sites, and achieving mutual benefit and win-win results in a professional mode and sustainable way. The conference refined the short-term and long-term goals of the project, defined its theme and its tourism products and publicity plans, and determined the next step.

The launch of tourist routes centered on the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is set to be accelerated and the convention center will be promoted as a 4A-level scenic spot.
