Shang Yuying, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai government, said during the meeting that since its establishment, CSITF has been adhering to the national strategy, focusing on building a new platform for international leading technologies, cultivating new carriers of professional and innovative resource links, and expanding new channels for national exchanges in technology trade, to build a new all-round science and technology public service system.
After seven years of practical exploration, CSITF is becoming increasingly influential and has become an important platform for technological supply and demand, as well as capital and technology, said Shang.
Shang also pointed out that centering on the function positioning of the fair, the 2020 event will be more refined and market-oriented. She said it is important to give full play to the spillover effects of the national science and technology innovation exchange platform, and make full use of it as a carrier to promote innovative economic growth.
