In response to a potential peak in heating appliances use due to extreme weather and a further drop in temperature in winter, two lists related to home appliance maintenance services were launched on Jan 9 in Shanghai.

One of the lists relates to an after-sales service hotline and the other to authorized outlets for service of products of home appliance enterprises in 2020.

It was the first time Shanghai has released a list of all authorized service enterprises of the 36 brands of household appliances currently on sale in the city and the 702 enterprises that manufacture them.

A group of 475 home appliance maintenance enterprises were listed as Recommended Enterprises in the Shanghai Household Appliance Maintenance Service Industry.

In addition, for everyone's daily use, the two "must have" lists will be distributed in local communities as an easy reference for local residents.
