Feb 10 was the first day back at work for many companies in Shanghai. For the shopping centers in Shanghai, it is still another day to prevent and control the epidemic.

What are the new measures adopted by shopping malls and shopping centers in this city, compared with the holiday season?

Many commercial projects released the notice of adjusting the business hours. At present, the opening time of different shopping malls is slightly different.

A person in charge from a shopping mall in Pudong district said that, at present, the entrance to the mall is still taking measures of temperature measurement at the entrance, asking customers to wear masks, offering hand sanitizer and other disinfection facilities. Compared with before, the frequency of disinfection in shopping malls increases again today.

"Basically, the frequency of disinfection is kept at once every three hours. Before and after the store is opened and closed, we will carry out another 'thorough cleaning'," he added.

The crowd gathering at lunch time also draws attention of these shopping malls. It is learned that catering enterprises in Shanghai also customized the set meal in advance for the demand of white collar workers returning to work recently, and suggested that consumers take the food out to avoid the crowd of customers.

Additionally, tech-savvy "new employees" - the cleaning robots have taken the responsibility for the daily delivery of disinfection on the pedestrian channels inside and outside the shopping malls, increasing the frequency of disinfection on the ground, and its voice broadcasting function can also remind consumers to enhance the awareness of hygiene and protection consciousness of the virus.
