From its intelligent unmanned forklift system exhibited at the first China International Import Expo (CIIE), to the highest indoor exhibit at the second CIIE, the German exhibitor Jungheinrich has shown great confidence in the Chinese market.
After the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, Jungheinrich has given priority to orders from domestic pharmaceutical, food and logistics enterprises, striving to deliver the forklifts they needed in advance.
"These orders, which account for 10 percent of our total orders, come from frontline enterprises fighting against the epidemic," said Bao Wenyan, Jungheinrich's marketing manager. "Delivering the goods earlier can help them with urgent production and transport."
Additionally, Jungheinrich's headquarters in Germany provided 2,000 N95 masks to its employees in China. After completing customs clearance on Feb 14, half of the masks were donated directly to frontline workers and volunteers at Hongqiao transport hub.
"Hongqiao transport hub is the western gate of Shanghai. We wanted to give half of the masks to those who need them the most," said Bai Daping, general manager of Jungheinrich China branch.
Jungheinrich is one of the world's top suppliers of industrial trucks, warehousing and intralogistics.
