After releasing a list of food delivery services provided by 91 local catering enterprises, Shanghai Restaurant Cuisine Association has again called for more social catering enterprises to provide food delivery services.

To solve the problem of meal supplies for enterprises and institutions in the city during resumption of work, the association recently cooperated with takeout network platforms to call for catering enterprises to ensure group food delivery services.

This is a special measure during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia. First, it aims to help major catering enterprises in Shanghai upgrade services, and second, to solve some of the problems of work resumption by providing food delivery services. At the same time, the use of fast food containers for staff meal can avoid having staff members gathering in groups which increase risks of infection.

According to the rules introduced by the Shanghai Restaurant Cuisine Association, take-out delivery food should have a "food security seal". Additionally, the incubator, logistics vehicles and turnover equipment should be cleaned and disinfected every day.

The catering services include breakfast, lunch and dinner, and must be ordered individually. The enterprise makes the reservation by phone or directly places the order on Meituan, a leading online food delivery company.
