Shanghai helps foreign-funded enterprises solve difficulties
To conduct overall planning for local epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce plans to visit more than 700 regional headquarters and some potential headquarters of multinational corporations in Shanghai from Feb 24 to March 10.
The commission will provide all-round contact services to 50,000 foreign-funded enterprises in Shanghai to keep abreast of the epidemic prevention and control situation of these enterprises, and solve their problems in current operations, production and market resumption.
The commission has set up five working groups – a visiting and liaison group, an information collection group, a problem coordination group, an information reporting group and a publicity group – focusing on solving problems and collecting and summarizing information in real time.
According to officials, the visits will effectively combine the current epidemic prevention and control work with long-term economic and social development work, and give full play to the role of service carriers such as districts, subdistricts, investment centers and industrial parks.
