Shanghai warms up high-end job market
Shanghai is about to launch a series of activities on cloud job interview platforms to guarantee the selection of talents, especially overseas returnees, which will send out a message that the city is "seeking talents" to job candidates at home and abroad and to fresh graduates of colleges and universities.
It is estimated that more than 5,000 companies will participate in the first cloud selection of overseas returnee talents. The companies include global top 500 enterprises, large State-owned enterprises, well-known foreign enterprises, listed enterprises on the science and technology innovation board at the Shanghai Stock Exchange, high-tech enterprises, institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutes and hospitals, which are expected to provide more than 70,000 jobs.
According to the organizers, Shanghai has been exploring a new online global talent recruitment system, aiming to provide a steady supply of talents for the win-win situation of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development.
The cloud selection of high-level talents will be divided into municipal, district and human resources organizations. A group of 16 special recruitment fairs at municipal level will provide job opportunities in integrated circuits, biological medicine, artificial intelligence, new and high technology, finance, economy and shipping logistics.
At the district level, another 16 special recruitment fairs will launch high-quality human resources organizations on the cloud platform to play their market role in job releases and talent introduction.
The "cloud selection interview" platform will make full use of the integration of urban talents and public services with the professional platform for employment guidance for college graduates in Shanghai, giving full play to the advantages of human resources intermediaries.
Reports say that a series of measures will be rolled out to offer more beneficial policies for talents from home and abroad to work in Shanghai.
