Nearly 70 pct major attractions reopen in Shanghai as epidemic recedes
A total of 69 top-rated Class-A tourist attractions in Shanghai have resumed operations as of Monday as the novel coronavirus epidemic begins to wane, according to the local authorities.
Each of the three top-rated attractions in the city are now open to the public as the Shanghai Wildlife Park reopened Monday, said the municipal culture and tourism bureau.
Shanghai boasts 113 national Class-A attractions, nine of which are under reconstruction.
The metropolis has rolled out 30 measures since late February as part of its efforts to guide the epidemic prevention and control work of the attractions and ensure the health and safety of tourists and staff.
