Jing'an: Shanghai unleashes consumption potential
Jing'an district in Shanghai recently held a meeting to promote the resumption of work, press the fast forward button on fulfilling the year's target tasks, and strive to win the battle of coronavirus epidemic prevention and control, and ensure economic and social development.
Jing'an district has formed a new round of support policies for enterprises' particular demands. Jing'an will take the construction of international consumer city demonstration zones as the starting point, will strengthen the brand economy, speed up the introduction of new enterprises, expand the tax rebate economy and promote the platform economy.
To date, the resumption to work rate of key enterprises in the district is nearly 100 percent, the recovery rate of industrial parks is over 90 percent, the recovery rate of large shopping malls and merchants is over 85 percent, and all construction projects are fully resumed.
Among the 17 major shopping malls in the district, 96 percent of retail shops and 85 percent of catering shops have returned to work. Street shops have returned to work at a rate of 88 percent, downtown Shanghai's West Nanjing Road has been fully restored, putting the commodity consumption market on the right track.
