Shanghai recently released the 2020 Shanghai Foreign Investment Guide to provide the latest investment information and industrial development analysis for overseas investors who intend to settle in Shanghai.

In order to help foreign investors have a better understanding of Shanghai's key industries, the guide gives a comprehensive introduction to nine sectors in terms of development trends, regional layout, enterprises, supportive policies, and promotional institutions. Selected from the modern service industry, the strategic emerging industry and the advanced manufacturing industry, the nine sectors are finance, commerce and trade, culture and creativity, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, new energy vehicles, new materials, and high-end energy equipment.

According to the industrial focus, supporting facilities and policy support of different regions in Shanghai, the guide provides a detailed introduction to Shanghai's 16 administrative districts and key functional areas such as China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park, the Hongqiao Central Business District, and the Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
