Shanghai Commission of Commerce cooperates with SUIBE
Shanghai Commission of Commerce signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shanghai University of International Business and Economics on May 26.
According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out cooperation in four main areas: research on the construction of Shanghai international trade center, high-end training relying on the WTO Asia-Pacific training center, study the China International Import Expo (CIIE) forum and any spillover driving effect; business personnel training.
Hua Yuan, director of the commission, said during the signing ceremony that it will strongly support the university to become a "WTO Asia-Pacific training center", so that it can enhance its contributions to the country and Shanghai's major strategic level.
Hua said he hopes the university can provide better policy research and decision-making support for Shanghai to stabilize foreign investment and foreign trade. He also put forward constructive suggestions for expanding the spillover effect of the CIIE.
