The 18th China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference (ChinaJoy) concluded in Shanghai on Aug 3.
As one of the most well-known and influential annual events in the global digital entertainment field, this year's ChinaJoy consisted of 10 pavilions covering 125,000 square meters, with nearly 400 exhibitors.
Focusing on technological innovation and applications, the expo showcased new technological innovations in 5G, cloud games and other digital entertainment industries.
With global technology and network enterprises successively stepping into the cloud game market, exhibitors such as Tencent, Xishanju and Qualcomm launched cloud game displays or trial play activities at the expo.
The expo also set up a BTOC (Business-to-Consumer) interactive entertainment exhibition area, which brought together more than 1,000 world-leading games, and digital entertainment and intelligent entertainment hardware and software products.
The expo's BTOB (Business-to-Business) area was an important matchmaking platform in Asia for the import and export of digital entertainment products, and cross-field trade and negotiations.
Judging from its scale, degree of internationalization, global influence and other indicators, ChinaJoy has become one of the world's top digital entertainment exhibitions, on a par the with Gamescom in Germany, the Electronic Entertainment Expo in the United States and Tokyo Game Show in Japan.
