Shanghai provides convenient breakfast facility for office workers
The Shanghai Commission of Commerce and other related government departments in Shanghai are making every effort to meet the breakfast needs of every citizen, local media reported.
In view of the problem that many office workers have no time to buy breakfast, the commission is focusing on promoting the project of "ordering food online and picking up at smart lockers" in office blocks along subway lines, development zones (parks) and commercial complexes built on the subway line.

Hexiaoma, a new business branch of Hema Fresh, a food chain backed by Alibaba Group Holding Ltd, opened six stores in Shanghai on Aug 12. Users can place an order in advance on the Hema Fresh app, and scan the code at the Hexiaoma self-pickup locker to pick up the meal.
According to officials from the commission, Shanghai plans to set up 100 smart breakfast pickup locker across the city in 2020.
