Hua Yuan, the director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, met with Husyin Emre Engin, consul-general of Turkey in Shanghai on Dec 31, in order to map out improved relations between Turkey and the megacity which is situated in East China, according to local officials.

The two men held talks on how to expand commerce and forge improved links in terms of investment, imports and exports, consumption and participation in the China International Import Expo – the massive trade fair held annually in Shanghai.
