The Shanghai government on Wednesday released new COVID-19 \r\nmeasures which advise people living in medium- and high-risk areas in \r\nChina to postpone their trips to the city until the risk level is \r\ndowngraded to low.

The measures also state that people returning to Shanghai from \r\nmedium- and high-risk areas within the country should report to their \r\nlocal neighborhood committees within 12 hours after their arrival and \r\nadhere to the necessary pandemic prevention protocols.

In addition, those from or passing through high-risk domestic areas \r\nwill be required to serve a 14-day quarantine and undertake two nucleic \r\nacid tests.

Those passing through medium-risk areas in the country should be \r\nplaced under the supervision of their local neighborhood committees for \r\n14 days after their arrival and take two nucleic acid tests.
