Shanghai launches fashion, trendy life festival

The 2021 Shanghai Trendy Life Festival kicked off in Raffles City in the North Bund of Shanghai's Hongkou district on May 14 – with the goal to boost spending during the ongoing May 5 Shopping Festival – local media reported in the city in East China.
Jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce and Hongkou district government, the festival features some 200 domestic on-trend brands that are launching new products.
More than 10 themed activities focusing on shopping, manufacturing, services and culture in Shanghai are being rolled out during the event. The aim is to spark an online and offline shopping bonanza.
In order to promote its economy and consumer products, Hongkou district has reportedly formulated a series of supportive policies for the R&D of new products, their launch, as well as the opening of new stores in the district.
