This three-story building was the home of renowned scholar and \r\neducator Chen Wangdao. In 1920, Chen completed the first Chinese \r\ntranslation of The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich \r\nEngels. He also served as President of Fudan University from 1952 to \r\n1977. The residence was transformed into an exhibition hall for the \r\nmanifesto in 2018.
