East China's Shanghai city recently launched four service stations to help local enterprises to benefit from the introduction of the landmark Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, or RCEP trade agreement which took effect on Jan 1 this year.

RCEP was signed by 15 Asia-Pacific countries – including 10 ASEAN members, China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia and New Zealand. These nations' combined population, gross domestic product and trade account for about 30 percent of the world's total.

Through a variety of on-site and online channels, the stations will provide consulting services for enterprises on preferential measures related to RCEP, such as tariff preferences, rules of origin, rules of trade in goods, customs procedures and trade facilitation, among other things.
