The 20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition – also known as Auto Shanghai 2023 – will kick off on April 18 in the city in East China at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

The much-anticipated event will offer a glimpse into the latest achievements and trends in the global automobile industry.

More than 1,000 complete vehicles and parts companies from 20 countries and regions will participate, displaying about 1,500 vehicles.

As the first major economic and trade event in Shanghai after the COVID-19 pandemic, Auto Shanghai will feature a number of keenly awaited highlights.

Top executives from multinational car manufacturers and domestic auto groups will attend the event in person. Leading enterprises in new energy manufacturing, future mobility, chips, radar, ADAS, autonomous driving solutions, the internet of vehicles and high-precision maps will showcase their latest technologies and products.

Various new products news conferences will be held by car companies and related exhibitors at their stands. A number of trade talks and technical exchanges, as well as seminars, procurement matching meetings and other activities will also be held during the show.

After more than 40 years of development, Auto Shanghai has developed into an international top-tier auto show in the world that covers complete vehicles, the automotive supply chain and automotive technology enterprises.

It not only represents one of the highest levels of Chinese auto shows, but also one of the highest levels of Chinese brand exhibitions.

Auto Shanghai 2023's tickets are all electronic tickets. Visitors must purchase tickets in advance and complete real-name registration through the official ticketing platform. No tickets will be sold on site on the day of the exhibition.

The schedule is as follows: April 18-19 are media days; April 20-21 are professional visitors days, while April 22-27 are professional and public visitors days.
