China Toy Expo 2023, along with China Licensing Expo 2023, China Kids Fair 2023 and China Preschool Expo 2023 – collectively known as the four trade shows of the China Toy & Juvenile Products Association, or CTJPA – were jointly held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in East China's Shanghai on Oct 17-19.

Meanwhile, to infuse fresh energy into consumer experiences and foster innovation through the deep integration of exhibitions, culture and commerce, the CTJPA also organized the first Creative Lifestyles Event on Oct 17-31.

The event drew over 2,500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, showcasing more than 5,200 brands, including renowned names like LEGO and BANDAI.

It boasted 2,240 officially licensed global intellectual property brands, such as Kakao Friends and ZANMANG LOOPY.

Moreover, the event featured a variety of specialized exhibitions, offering visitors a glimpse of the latest trends in the toy and child-related industries.

Of these, the CTE Trend and Collectible Toy Pavilion stole the spotlight, along with displays of IP licensing products, STEAM toys, 2024 trendsetting products and more.

STEAM toys – designed to engage kids in activities that foster the development of critical skills and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics – are highly popular among moms and preschool teachers.

Attendees to the four trade shows enjoyed access to 100 themed conferences and forums. The gatherings aimed to delve into subjects like technological innovation and how novel development concepts can lead to top-quality growth in the industry.
