The WhalesBot industry base – which brings together firms, universities and research institutes – aims to revolutionize the landscape of "AI education + robotics".
Once up and running, it will give a big boost to the company to achieve complete autonomy in the research and production of educational robots.
As a major project in Minhang district, the industrial base is poised to contribute significantly to educational robot technology development, mass production, standardization testing and certification.
The hub will also take an active role in fostering youth engagement with artificial intelligence through competitions and events. The projected annual output value of the completed base is expected to top 2 billion yuan ($277.9 million).
