Shanghai's Xuhui district signs up major projects
In what's being regarded as a significant development for Xuhui district – located in East China's Shanghai – a total of 23 major projects were signed on May 23.
The projects span various key sectors including information technology, new energy, new media, financial information services, medical equipment and semiconductors.

One standout initiative was the introduction of a key enterprise service package plus+ masterplan, marking Xuhui as a pioneer in the city's service sector.
Under the plan, dedicated service stations will be established to provide tailored services for enterprises, leveraging the know-how of various specialized institutions.
Services will include in-depth consultations, on-site assistance, specialized consultations and customized information to address specific industry challenges.
Moreover, Xuhui plans to capitalize on its rich resources base – including leading institutions, research facilities, universities and enterprises – to foster innovation.
The district thereby aims to establish incubators for sectors – including blockchain and biomedicines – facilitating technological innovation and urban renewal.
During the signing ceremony, several companies, including Tezign – a leading player in artificial intelligence-generated content – initiated new rounds of cooperation with Xuhui district.
According to Wang Zhe, co-founder of Tezign, Xuhui's developed infrastructure, convenient transportation network, abundant talent pool and vibrant innovation ecosystem makes it a compelling destination for emerging AI companies.
