19th Shanghai Wine & Spirits Festival opens with a splash
The 19th Shanghai Wine & Spirits Festival kicked off with a splash on May 31 at Ruihong Tiandi – a comprehensive international-style business complex – in the Hongkou district of East China's Shanghai.
As part of the 2024 Shanghai Shopping Festival, it's celebrating the theme of The World of Wine · The Wine of the World – blending wine culture with fashion trends and offering a global drinking experience.
With over a thousand liquor options from premium brands like Moutai, Wuliangye and Changyu, the venue is abuzz with people trying out baijiu, wine, beer and spirits. Each stand showcases special designs and interactive games, giving guests a close-up experience of brand cultures.

Lasting two months, the Shanghai Wine & Spirits Festival is scheduled to feature themed events each weekend, including a Dragon Boat Festival market and Havana Nights. Adding to all the fun are live bands, games and pet-friendly activities.
Additionally, iconic spots across Hongkou district – like North Suzhou Road and the White Magnolia Plaza – are hosting activities to entertain local consumers and enrich their cultural experience.
