A special event during the fifth Shanghai Shopping Festival took place on June 8 in East China's Shanghai – organized by local municipal departments with the support of Qinghai province's commerce department and the Golog prefecture government.

The Golog Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture is administered by China's Northwestern Qinghai province.

The event, which took place at the Bund Finance Center, featured a three-day themed market to showcase Qinghai's cultural tourism and local specialties.

Additionally, it introduced the "Shanghai-Golog Premium Products Cultivation Plan" to help Golog enterprises improve their marketability, product quality and branding.

A highlight was the launch of a yak beef jerky product line, which was adapted to Shanghai market preferences by removing certain additives and changing the packaging.

The event also included informative sessions on Golog's local specialties  like Fritillaria plants, emphasizing their high quality due to the high-altitude growing conditions.

Fritillaria are plants believed to have benefits such as relieving coughs, reducing phlegm and treating respiratory conditions.

Representatives from businesses such as Olé – a boutique supermarket brand – expressed their strong support for Golog's products.

"We will leverage our supply chain to promote high-quality products from Golog and Qinghai, forming a close partnership with our collaborators," said Tang Jiasha, general manager of Olé's East China Region.
