East China's Shanghai is gearing up to host the much-anticipated International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare.

Scheduled for June 13-15 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, this year's expo promises a wide range of offerings across six main categories: elderly care services, assistive devices, rehabilitation medicine, life care, health management and livable architecture.

With over 450 domestic and international brands in attendance, the exhibition covers an expansive 46,000 square meters, marking a significant leap in scale from previous shows.

A notable highlight of this year's event is its expanded international participation, with 100 overseas exhibitors confirmed. Among them, 73 Japanese exhibitors will display their products and services independently or within national pavilions, featuring renowned brands like Panasonic and Mitsubishi.

Adding to the global diversity, Dutch companies such as Philips and DSM-Firmenich, alongside Australian firms like ResMed and Alinda, will present a varied spectrum of products tailored to the elderly – ranging from sleep respiratory management to healthy diet solutions.

A core emphasis of the expo is on spotlighting the latest advancements in eldercare technology, with a quarter of exhibitors unveiling innovative products like smart platforms for seniors and intelligent rehabilitation aids.

Accessibility is a priority, with the exhibition offering free admission and providing wheelchair facilities along with complimentary wheelchair rental services on-site, ensuring inclusivity for all attendees.
