A new exhibition featuring intricate Lego-style creations has become a summer hotspot in East China's Shanghai – drawing over 10,000 visitors in its first two days.
The ongoing Brick & Fans: Chinese Brick Creative Park exhibition, which opened at the MOHO Mall in the city's Jing'an district on July 6, has already sold nearly 50,000 tickets.

Spanning over 1,000 square meters of floor space, the exhibition showcases thousands of displays made from millions of colorful bricks.
Visitors are said to be transported into a fantastical world of Lego, featuring everything from ancient Chinese architecture to futuristic spaceships.
The exhibition is divided into several themed areas. One of them is a Chinese culture section which presents meticulously recreated famous landmarks like the Tengwang Pavilion and Yellow Crane Tower.
Popular culture is also represented in an IP-themed zone, where familiar characters from games, animations and movies come to life in brick form. What's more, military enthusiasts can explore a dedicated area featuring Lego-style military equipment.
In addition to the displays, the exhibition includes a 600-sq-m interactive play area with eight different games – combining Lego building with technology to spark creativity and imagination in both children and adults.
Not surprisingly, the exhibition is a big hit with kids. [Photo/WeChat account: jaxwzx]
MOHO Mall's collaboration with the exhibition is said to mark a new adventure in family-friendly attractions. The mall is said to be aiming to break traditional retail norms and provide diverse, high-quality experiences for local consumers.
The exhibition, which runs to Oct 7, is located on the third floor of MOHO Mall.
Flushed with the expo's success and with its popularity soaring, the mall is already planning more innovative events to establish itself as a trendsetting destination in Shanghai and in the broader Yangtze River Delta region.
