The Greenland Global Commodity Trading Hub, a trading service platform launched by the Greenland Group for China International Import Expo, unveiled 10 country pavilions showcasing new imported commodities.

Half of the 10 pavilions are newly established, while the other half have undergone upgrades. The five new pavilions feature Armenia, Georgia, Indonesia, Portugal and Uzbekistan. This new addition has brought the number of total country pavilions to 68.

Among them, the country pavilion of Uzbekistan spans an area of 130 square meters, adopting a design based on the country's specialties. It displays and sells more than 200 commodities, including hand-painted porcelain, handmade carpets, and hand-embroidered coats.

The country pavilions of Argentina, Australia, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, and the United Kingdom were upgraded for this year. Argentina will invite enterprises and officials for livestreaming sessions promoting the country's products.

Meanwhile, the commodity trading hub also launched a selection of country-specific new products. These include Dominican Blue Amber, known as the "King of Amber", and German cosmetics that have ranked first in the local market for 12 consecutive years.

The Greenland Group said it will leverage its advantages in supply chains to ensure that these new products are offered at the same price as in their country of origin.

Furthermore, the group has reached 200 million yuan ($28.5 million) in import and export trade volume. In terms of import, it cooperated with a number of upstream enterprises from foreign countries including Australia and Indonesia, as well as downstream domestic enterprises for purchases and sales. Products ranging from cosmetics to food are distributed to key cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.

In terms of exports, the Greenland Group said it has collaborated with retail companies in Australia, focusing on domestic green building materials and beauty and hairdressing equipment. Additionally, partnerships have been formed with companies in Turkey and New Zealand for the export of medical devices and medical consumables.
