Bread lovers meet at Shanghai's Suhewan MixC World

The Suhewan MixC World shopping mall, located in Shanghai's Jing'an district, hosted its much-anticipated bread festival – Puff Up Bread 2024 – from Oct 25 to 27.

The festival transformed the mall into one of Shanghai's top weekend destinations, with visitors braving rainy weather to join the celebration.

The festival featured over 60 brands, including popular Shanghai bakeries and renowned shops from across China, offering local specialties and trending treats.

Attendees could sample and shop from more than 30 favorite Shanghai spots like Todos los dias, Isan Bakery, and Moofin – alongside regional favorites like Shenzhen's Labaker, Tianjin's Bitter Sweetie, and Chengdu's Mushroom.

Exclusive festival items included salted egg yolk pretzels from Nanjing,  soybean pretzels from Suzhou – as well as pumpkin cinnamon rolls and matcha cheese ciabatta from Hangzhou, adding a unique touch for shoppers.
