Known as the most aromatic section of the expo, the Food and Agricultural Products area attracts countless visitors each year with its unique culinary offerings and cutting-edge food fare.
This year, over 1,000 companies from more than 100 countries and regions are showcasing the latest in food innovation – including major global players in grain, vegetables and dairy.
The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations and the French agricultural and food sector has a strong presence at the event. French company Savencia, one of the world's top cheese manufacturers, is displaying its wide range of dairy products. They include the popular health-focused Milkana cheese lollipops, which have been a hit in China for over 20 years.
In addition, new products from around the world are making their debut. Malaysia's fresh Musang King durians, now available for direct import to China, are a highlight. Thanks to streamlined trading methods, these fresh durians, which once had a lengthy shipping process, now reach Chinese consumers within two days.
