Standards for industrial project in YRD demo area released
As one of the latest results of the Yangtze River Delta ecological green integration development demonstration area's exploring an innovative integrated system, standards for industrial project access in the demonstration area's pilot zone were issued recently.
The Yangtze River Delta ecological green integration development demonstration area comprises Qingpu district in Shanghai, Wujiang district in Suzhou in Jiangsu province, and Jiashan county in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, covering about 2,300 square kilometers.
Jinze and Zhujiajiao towns in Shanghai's Qingpu district, Lili town in Suzhou's Wujiang district, and Xitang and Yaozhuang towns in Jiaxing's Jiashan county were selected as pilot zones for the demonstration area.
The standards focus on new industrial projects and research and development (R&D) headquarters projects in the pilot zone, promoting the quality of new projects from the "four dimensions" of industrial fit, environmental friendliness, innovation concentration and economic density.
In terms of innovation concentration, key factors to be considered will be the proportion of scientific and technological personnel, the amount of R&D investment and the ownership of intellectual property rights in new industrial projects.
The standards are inevitable requirements for promoting the optimization of industrial layouts and allocation of resources. For the first time in China, uniform access standards for industrial projects have been implemented across provincial administrative regions.
